Shirley Gail Weaver, 57, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on November 19, 2013 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA. She was born on July 12, 1956 in Cheverly, MD to Zula G. Weaver and the late Ronald R. Weaver.

Shirley was a first grade school teacher and retired in 2009 from Valley View Elementary School in Oxon Hill, MD. She loved crocheting, making crafts, and entering craft shows. Shirley received many award winnings for her handmade items.

In addition to her dad, Shirley was predeceased by her brother, Gary L. Weaver, Sr.

Shirley is survived by her mom, Zula G. Weaver; nephew, Gary L. Weaver, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Cathy L. Weaver.

Family and friends will be received for Shirley's Life Celebration on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Service will begin at 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Bishop Michael Vance will officiate. A Private Interment with close friends and family will be held at Fockler Cemetery in Saxton, PA on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.
