Chad R. Rison, 28, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on November 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1985 in Clinton, MD to Lori Gail (Gordon) Rison of Mechanicsville, Maryland and to the late Donald Richard Rison.

Chad graduated from Chopticon High School in 2003. He grew up playing football in school and for the St. Mary's Pigskins. He enjoyed cooking, playing & watching all sports, boating and riding. Chad was a practical joker and a prankster. He was currently working as a chef at Kevin's Corner Kafe in Leonardtown, MD.

In addition to his dad, Chad was predeceased by his grandfather, Buck Gordon; and his uncle, Ray Rison.

Chad is survived by his mother, Lori; two sisters, Ashley L. Rison and Shannon N. Rison; grandparents, Caroline Gordon of Waldorf, MD, Virginia "Ginny" and Tom Thompson of Newburg, MD; Nephew, Camden R. O'Haran; Aunts, Cathy J. Stewart, Pat Spatarella, Bonnie Rouser, and Mary Lowe; Uncles, Mike Stewart and Joe Rison.

Family and friends will be received to celebrate Chad's life on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Service will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM, here at the funeral home. Pastor Dean Wolfe will officiate.
