Mary "Henrietta" Delozier, 89 of Leonardtown, MD died peacefully on November 5, 2013 at the Hospice House of St. Mary's, Callaway, MD. Born September 22, 1924 in Hollywood, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Cusic, Sr. and Madeline (Thompson) Cusic.

Henrietta was a lifelong St. Mary's county resident. She was deeply devoted to her family and her Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and attended mass daily. Henrietta was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Ladies of Charity, the St. Aloysius Church Alter Gild, and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Associates (SCNAs). She was chosen as one of thirty-five SCNAs nationwide. In her younger years she taught religious education to disabled children in the evenings at St. Mary's Academy so that they could receive their sacraments. She was recently described as a "spiritual inspiration to all her knew her".

She was a woman of quiet dignity and strength who was at all times a lady. Henrietta was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, neighbor, and parishioner. She always had a ready smile for all with never a negative word or complaint. When asked how she was doing her response would be "not bad for an old lady". She collected angels, and we now feel that she is our 'angel' in heaven watching over us.

Henrietta is survived by her son Carroll "Bucky" Delozier, of Ridge, MD, and daughters Michele Ford (Allen), of Lake Placid, FL, and Ann Combs (Michael), of Leonardtown, MD; her sister, Louise Bennett, of Colton's Point, MD; her grandchildren, Heidi Horton and Sarah Combs; and her great grandchildren, Nicolas, Alyssa and Jacqueline Horton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman W. Delozier; and her siblings, Margaret Hicks and Thomas Cusic, Jr.

Family will receive friends for Henrietta's Life Celebration on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend David Beaubien on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 22800 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
