Agnes Richards Langley, 88, passed away at her residence in White Plains, MD on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was born on April 19, 1925 in White Plains, MD, to the late Philip Warren Richards and the late Hazel Berry Willett Richards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Francis Thaddeus Langley, sisters, Mary Estelle DeMarr, Elsie Louise Richards, and great-grandson Dylan J. Raymond.

Agnes is survived by her children and their spouses, Donald W. and Audrey Langley, Hazel F. Langley, Mary A. and Freddie Young, Betty A. and Larry Canter, Thomas R. Langley, Patrick W. Langley, Karen L. and John Young, Keith E. and Terry Langley, sisters, Alice I. Olmsted & husband Franklin, Phyllis Regina Grimes & husband Kenneth, 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Agnes married Francis in 1950 and devoted her life to raising her 8 children and all of her grandchildren. She was famous for loving her children, grandchildren and family, gardening, canning, and cooking. Agnes had an unbelievable memory, she was considered the original Facebook and family historian.

On Sunday, October 27, 2013, the family will greet friends between 2 and 6 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P. A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave Huffman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 3320 St. Peter's Church Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Justin Langley, Jonathan Langley, J.D. Kirby, Josh Cornett, Jeffrey Young, Robert Young, Jamie Meador and John Meador.
