![]() On October 17, 2013, Louise M. Ayers, age 58, of Waldorf, MD, died from a sudden brain aneurysm she experienced during a morning jog.
She was born in Washington, DC, the sixth of nine siblings, after which her parents, William F. (deceased) and Ruth R. Fitzpatrick Sr. moved to Waldorf in 1957. She married Earl Ayers of Waldorf in 1978 and they have two children, Bobby Ayers and Kelly Ayers of Waldorf. A throng of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews dearly loved their 'Aunt Weezie' but she was especially close to her nephew Mike Adams (Ashley) and great-nieces Mikayla and Jordan Adams of Waldorf, and nephew Tony (Tricia) Adams and great-niece Frankie Adams of White Plains, MD. Her family has always been her pride and joy. Her survivors also include all of her siblings: Bonnie (Thad) Rose of Waldorf, William (Kathleen) Fitzpatrick Jr. of La Plata, Joseph (Sally) Fitzpatrick of Waldorf, Edward (Sandra) Fitzpatrick of Waldorf, Daniel Fitzpatrick of Brandywine, Regina (Dennis II) Anderson of Waldorf, Teresa Farr of Mechanicsville, and Catherine Hintze of Mechanicsville. Louise retired in September 2010 after a 37-year Federal Civil Service career that began upon graduation from Thomas Stone High School in 1973. and led to an Associate Executive Officer GS15 position with the Department of Justice. Louise's interests included riding with Earl on their motorcycle, enjoying family celebrations, biking, boating, and taking cruises with her family and friends, sharing her family's beach house near Ocean City, doing occasional community service, babysitting great-nieces, shopping, home decorating, and exercising to stay fit. Her life and spirit continue through her gift of organ donation. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Louise's life on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Open visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with brief prayers at 7:00 P.M., followed by an opportunity for family and friends to speak in Louise's honor. Burial will be private.
