Michael Douglas Viverette, 60, of Hughesville, MD passed away October 4, 2013 at Hospice House of St. Mary's, Callaway, MD. Born May 31, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL he was the son of Powell T. Viverette and Clara A. Pendergrast Viverette.

Michael was employed as a Statistician for the U.S. Census Bureau, retiring March of 2012.

He loved fast cars, racing, watching movies (having several favorites) and was an avid music lover. He enjoyed light houses & being outdoors near the water. He especially loved the seashore.

Predeceased by his father Powell Viverette, and a sister Theresa M. Viverette Vliet, Michael is survived by his mother Clara (Pendergrast) Viverette; sister, Ruthann (Viverette) Scott and brother, Jeffery Paul Viverette and wife, Colleen; nieces, Teresa M. Pizarro of Cumming, GA, Deanna R. Powell and husband, Kenny of Romney, WV and Rebekah J. Viverette of Jefferson, GA; nephew, Asa G. Viverette of Jefferson, GA; great nephews, Bradley T. Pizarro of Cumming, GA and Aiden C. Powell of Romney WV.

Michael had no children except for his beloved now deceased Beagle (Rocky), whom was like a child to him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Brinsfield-Echols. Father Kevin Cusick will officiate. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Helen, MD.
