Raoul K. Denton of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on January 17, 2008 at his residence.

Born on August 25, 1948 in Bridgeport, CT, Raoul was the son of the late Beatrice Burke.

Currently he was employed as a Safety Specialist at Patuxent Naval Air Base. Mr. Denton has been a volunteer Firefighter from 1964 to present. (Fairfield, CT, Milford, CT, Trevose, PA and Mechanicsville, MD).

Raoul was a devoted enthusiast of Southern Gospel music. He loved Victory Baptist Church of Charlotte Hall, MD. where he worshiped and fellowshipped. He will be greatly missed by many; especially his long time best friend, Dennis, Debbie, his children Kate and Scott, his three closer cousins, Linda Plavnicky, Barb Zwally and Bob Loomis. Also good friends Christal and Susannah and his other beloved cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 7:00pm in Victory Baptist Church, Charlotte Hall, MD with Reverend Robert Kyner officiating.
