Helen Elizabeth Ott, 94, of Waldorf, MD passed away on September 20, 2013 at the Charles County Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born February 25, 1919 in Charlestown, WV to the late Bruce Martin and Angeline Arehart Martin.

Helen and her husband owned and operated Ott's Market on Route 228 for many years. She was also a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Waldorf, MD.

Helen's life revolved around her love for family and friends. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook and always enjoyed cooking for her family, friends and holiday gatherings any chance she got.

Helen was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Willard Ott, and her sisters, Rebecca Hough and Frances Edelen and brother, Robert Martin.

Helen is survived by her nieces, JoAnn Edelen, Debbie Page, Tammy Clontz (Rick), Pat Thompson (Orville), Eleanor Glesner, Kay Payne, nephews, Ronald Edelen (Ester), John Martin, Michael Hough, John Ott, Robert Ott (Linda), Franklin Ott (Doris), and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Arrangement are being handled Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Edelen, Robbie Edelen, Todd Edelen, John Martin, Rob Page and Rick Clontz.
