Judith Marie "Judy" Taylor, 50, of Burtonsville, MD formerly of Compton, MD. Born February 28, 1956 in Leonardtown, MD she was the daughter of Thelma Taylor of Lexington Park, MD and the late Earl Taylor. She is survived by her siblings Richley of St. Clements Shores, MD, Pam of Colorado Springs, Bonnie of San Antonio, Kevin of Leonardtown, MD, and Chrissy of Callaway, MD.

She graduated from Chopticon High School in 1974 and also University of Maryland in 1980 with a Master in Business Administration. Ms. Taylor was an Assistant Manager at Verizon where she retired on December 2005 after twenty six years of employment.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, from 5:00-8:00 PM with prayers being said 7:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. John Mattingly officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chuck Adams, Roger Mattingly, Dennis Mattingly, Ronnie Delahay, Richley Delahay and Brian Taylor.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kristi Taylor, Jennifer Adams and Taylor Young. Altar servers will be Cody Mattingly and Alex Mattingly.
