Edna Gundran Madayag, 59, of Waldorf, MD died at her home on September 6, 2013. She was born on April 13, 1954 in San Fernando La Union, Philippines to Aurora Gundran and the late Marcial Madayag.

She is survived by her daughters Roxanne Chan of Canada and Rachel Chan of LaPlata, MD, Brothers Edward Madayag of Philadelphia, PA and Romulo Maydayag of San Diego, CA, sisters Vida Peralta of Solon, OH and Loida Lagang of Waldorf, MD.

Edna graduated from Baguio General Hospital as a Nurse. She worked at Civista Medical Center for 23 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 12, 2013 10 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church La Plata, MD. Interment to follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, MD.
