![]() Rosemarie DiMisa Jackson, 69, of Lexington Park, MD and formerly of Golden Beach, MD passed away on September 2, 2013 at Calvert Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 21, 1943 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Frank Paul DiMisa and the late Mary Rose (Sforza) DiMisa. Rosemarie had a heart of gold and a green thumb. She loved to have a good time and got pleasure from being around people, especially her family. Rosemarie was also an animal lover. She enjoyed plants and flowers, music and dancing, bingo and slot machines and giving advice freely. In addition to her parents, Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Edward Jackson, Sr. Rosemarie is survived by her children, Amy D. Cavanaugh (Brian), Beth L. McKee (John), Dennis E. Jackson, Jr., Deborah M. Jackson (Richard Hamilton), and Jennifer R. Bennett; her brother, Sam DiMisa (Sue); her sister, Roma Pence (Jimmy); and 11 grandchildren, John McKee, Jr., Trent McKee, Gabrielle McKee, Alexis Jackson, Chance Bennett, Ronnie Bennett, Dakota Hamilton, Ricky Hamilton, Jr., Ethan Hamilton, Aidan Cavanaugh, and Braden Cavanaugh. Family and friends will be received for Rosemarie's Life Celebration on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with prayers beginning at 7:30 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Mass on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment will follow to Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Pence, Sam DiMisa, Brian Cavanaugh, John McKee, Sr., John McKee, Jr., and Trent McKee.
