Jinan Rasheed (aka Joan Dyson) departed this life in the presence of her loving family on Monday, September 2, 2013, at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, Maryland.

She is survived by her daughters; Yvonne, Iyyetta and Ameera, sons; Ronald and Karam. Also surviving are six sisters and one brother and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jinan was preceded in death by her parents, George and Catherine Dyson, and brother, Jerome Dyson.

Viewing 10:00am until time of service 12:00pm, Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment Heritage Memorial Cemetery, Waldorf, MD.
