Mr. Smothers of Newburg, MD died on August 7, 2013 at his residence with Hospice. He was 87 years old.
Son of John Wade Smothers and Blanche Marie Holton Smothers. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Annie C. Dyson Smothers. Friends received on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 10AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Issue, 15848 Rock Point Road, Newburg, MD 20664 with Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
