Robert Emlin Toole, 85, of Mechanicsville, MD passed peacefully August 9, 2013 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, Charlotte Hall, MD. Born October 15, 1927 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Emlin Robert Toole and Victoria Elrod Toole.

Robert owned and operated the Atlantic Venetian Blind Company in Clinton, MD.

He loved to fish and crab and being a pilot, he enjoyed flying . He was a family man who especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife, Margaret Jean Benson Toole and his children Nancy Renninger and husband Don, and Ron D. Toole, Sr. and wife, Rene; also brothers, Russell , Thomas and John Toole and sister, Betty June Polehn; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for Robert's Life Celebration on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A funeral service, conducted by Pastor Paul Goodwin, will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11:00a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, MD 20735.
