Heum Cheon Kim, 85 of Piney Point, MD died August 3, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born June 29, 1928 in Seoul, Korea, she was the daughter of the late Chido Lee and Poksoon Kim.

Heum celebrated 37 years of marriage to Yongsik Kim before his passing in 1991.

Heum enjoyed serving in her home church, getting together with her friends and family, growing vegetables in her garden and playing with her dog companion named Binki.

Heum is survived by her daughters, Micha Duquette of Yorktown, VA and Eunhee Kim of Piney Point, MD, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m., with prayers recited at 5:30 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD.
