Lawrence Delano Paschal, 78, of Hughesville, MD passed away July 26, 2013 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. Born December 26, 1934 in Pax, West Virginia, he was the son of John F. Paschal and Lula Stover Paschal.

Larry was the owner and operator of Larry's Towing in Fort Washington, MD; a business he started with his wife in 1967.

He loved hunting, riding his ATV, fishing, boating, bowling, football - especially the Washington Redskins and was known for throwing the biggest 4th of July parties ever. He was a member of the St. Charles Sportsman's Club.

His greatest joys were his wife of 52 years, Alice Joyce Paschal, being with his family and taking care of them and his two Chihuahuas, Nitro and Buddy. In addition to being a great father to his children and a devoted husband, he was a kindhearted, generous and a giving person to everyone.

Larry was predeceased by his parents; son, Kevin Paschal; brother, Owen Paschal and sisters, Estella Akers and Evelyn Janney.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Sheila Atkins, Larry Paschal, Danny Paschal, Roger Paschal and Brian Paschal; sisters, Rhema Cales and Bettie Aliff; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for Larry's Life Celebration on August 1, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on August 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice dealing with Interstitial Lung Disease on behalf of Lawrence Paschal.
