A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. George's Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD with Msgr. Karl Chimiak officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Viewing/Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM.

Mildred Elizabeth Wince, 81, of Piney Point, MD died January 14, 2008 at St. Mary's Nursing Center. Born June 13, 1926 in Piney Point, MD she was the daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Mary Katherine Yingst Eberle. She was the loving wife of Warren Louis Wince whom she married on November 6, 1942 in Leonardtown, MD.

She is survived by her children; Judith Nelson and her husband John of Town Creek, MD, Louis Wince and his wife Linda of Dumfries, VA, Sheila Morris and her husband George of Land O' Lakes, FL and Donald Wince and his wife Patricia of Valley Lee, MD as well as 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Donna Estep and her husband Tom of Grove City, OH and Mary K. Yingst of Galloway, OH.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Francis and William Jefferson Eberle.

A lifelong resident of St. Mary's County, Mildred was a graduate of Great Mills High School. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, Leonardtown, MD where prayers will be said at 7:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. George Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD with Fr. Joseph Sileo officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Robbins, Jeffrey Schroeder, Brandon Wince, James Sellers, Dale Wince and Jay Wince.
