Walter Green Jr., 61 of Great Mills, MD, son of the late Walter Green, Sr. and Beatrice Armstrong Green was born on January 9, 1952 in Fairfield County.  Walter entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2013.      

Walter married the love of his life, Teressa on May 28, 1976 and from that union they had a daughter and a son. Walter and Teressa moved from Winnsboro, SC to Lexington Park, MD in 1977. He retired from United Masonry after 30 years as  a Scaffold Foreman. 

He was a devoted father to his children and he loved his grandchildren.  Although his health was failing, Walter would still take time out to go and watch his grandson, Terrence, Jr. play baseball. Walter's hobbies were building things such as sheds, going fishing and sometimes venturing to the casinos!

Walter, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Walter Green, Sr.; mother, Beatrice Green; brothers, Issac Green, Marvin Green and Robert L. Armstrong.

Walter leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Teressa; daughter, Stefanie; son, Terrence (Torri); grandchildren, Mikel Green, Teonna Green, Terrence Green. Jr. and Jaz-Mine Green, all of Lexington Park, MD; sisters, Betty (Moses Mobley) of Charlotte, NC, Janie (Thomas), Ruby (Leroy) and Shirley Green, all of Winnsboro, SC; brothers, Andrew (Shirley), Ulysses (Doris), Donald (Ruby), all of Winnsboro, SC; sister-in-law, Sara Young of Accokeek, MD; special friends of the family, Jermiah, Jackie, Jerry and JaRon; special aunt, Ida Mae Parker, of Lexington Park, MD; special friends, Roger Hawkins, Johnny Swales and William Brown, numerous nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Service and interment will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Winnsboro, South Carolina.
