Robert A. Moeller Sr, 82 of New Market, Maryland died July 9, 2013.

Born February 13, 1931 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of the late William Henry and Martha (Mueller) Moeller II.

He was preceded in death by his sister Dorthea Davis and brother William henry Moeller III. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Graves Moeller who he married September 20, 1952 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Laurel Grove, MD.

Mr. Moeller is survived by his brother Edward Moeller of Dunkirk, MD and his children Lois M. Beverage (Robert) of Chaptico, MD, Robert A. Moeller Jr. (Cathleen) of St. Leonard, MD, Janet M. Butterfield (John), Chaptico, MD, Laurence W. Moeller (Crystal), Leonardtown, MD. In addition to his children, he is also survived by his Grandchildren, Meredith Johnson (Brent), Andrea Morris (Charles), Megan Green (Christopher), Kyle Moeller, J. Greg Butterfield (Tiffenie), Luke Moeller, Garrett Moeller, L. William Moeller Jr., J. Benedict Moeller, Lisa Reithmeyer (Jason) and his Great Grandchildren, Ethan and Tyler Johnson, William, Christopher and James Green.

The Moeller's were owners of New Market Esso, Exxon & Texaco until their retirement, also known as "The Station" which was a large part of their life and was the center of the New Market community for many years.

Mr. Moeller was Elder Emeritus of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he was also a lifelong member. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling with his wife. In addition to spending time with family and friends. Mr. Moeller was also a member of the Mechanicsville Lions Club.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, Charlotte Hall, MD with a funeral service on July 12, 2013, 11:00a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers for Mr. Moeller will be Kyle Moeller, J. Greg Butterfield, Luke Moeller, Garrett Moeller, L. William Moeller Jr., J. Benedict Moeller, Brent Johnson, Charles Morris, Christopher Green, Jason Reithmeyer.
