Betty, 65, of Waldorf, MD passed away July 1, 2013 at Southern MD Hospital Center surrounded by her loving family. Born September 2, 1947 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. Brown Sr. and the late Catherine E. Brown.

Betty was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and ma. She was very family-oriented and always enjoyed watching her grandchildren and nephews' sporting events. She was always ready to travel, enjoying vacations with family, playing bingo, and going to the slots as well as reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bradford Postles Sr.; her infant daughter; her brothers, Jack, Harry, Charlie, and Louis Brown; and sister, Jessie Cusick.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa and her husband Tony D'Elia and Becky and her husband Joe Smith; and her son, Bradford and his wife Kim Postles. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Brown and his wife Carol; her sisters, Adele Morrow and Alice Raugh; grandchildren, Timmy, Samantha, Catherine, Jimmy, Joey, Trey, Kalynn, and Matthew; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering will be held from 4PM until time of Memorial Service at 7PM on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Burial will take place at Barratt's Chapel in Frederica, DE on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 1PM.
