Leslie Baker Allred, 87, of St. Leonard, Maryland, passed away on June 26, 2013 in Solomons, Maryland. Mrs. Allred was born July 12, 1925 in Newport News, Virginia to the late William R. Baker and Arabella Virginia Shanon.

Mrs. Allred was a resident of the Solomons Nursing Center from 2010 until 2013. Her hobbies included crocheting, watching game shows, and participating in the activities at the Nursing Center. She also enjoyed socializing with family and friends and was an avid bingo player.

Mrs. Allred was predeceased by her husband, George William Allred, Sr. She is survived by three children, Cheryl L. Phipps (Pat) of Conway, South Carolina, George W. Allred, Jr. (Cathy) of Henrico, North Carolina, and Renae A. Gibson (Dale) of St. Leonard, Maryland. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with another on the way.

Services were private.
