Louis Arthur Moyer, Jr., 69, of Hughesville, MD passed away at Hospice House of Charles County in Waldorf, MD on June 19, 2013. Born December 30, 1943 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Louis A. Moyer Sr. and the late Jeanette Mae Bellamy Moyer.

Louis was a Master Electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local #26. He enjoyed his home and nature, hunting, fishing and was a serious bowler who left behind a legacy of bowling memories.

Louis was predeceased by his wife, Mary Alice Moyer and brother Larry Thomas Moyer. He is survived by his sisters Linda Moyer Anderson of Virginia and Nancy Rose Moyer of Florida; nieces and nephews, Christopher Anderson, Heather Anderson Goble, Curtis, Jerry and Timmy Saylor.

Family and friends will be received for Louis' Life Celebration on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 11:00a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Pastor Kevin Cullins will officiate. Interment will follow at Immanuel Methodist Church Cemetery, 17400 Aquasco Rd., Brandywine, MD 20603.
