Linda Marie Hamilton, 52, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on June 1, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on September 5, 1960 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Enid Claire (Brennan) Geris and the late Thomas Leo Geris.

Linda loved cooking, having get-togethers on Sunday's, watching her grandchildren with their school sports, and enjoyed going to the beach in Kitty Hawk, NC. Her family was the center of her life.

Linda is survived by her husband, Raymond "Pete" Hamilton; children, Josh Smith (Wendy), Nicole Thompson (Allen), David Smith, and Justin Smith (Jennifer); brothers, Thomas Geris, David Geris (Alva), and Michael Geris; and 7 grandchildren, RJ Mogel, Hannah Mogel, Jackson Smith, Brooke Thompson, Chloe Thompson, Alex Smith, and Matt Smith.

Family and friends will be received for Linda's Memorial Life Celebration Gathering on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
