Dorothy Hamilton Juaner, 90, of Mechanicsville, MD passed peacefully at Solomon's Nursing Center, Solomons, MD on May 30, 2013. Born May 2, 1923 in Poolesville, MD, she was the daughter of Archie Smith and Ida Mae Roaman Smith.

She was a homemaker who loved Bingo games and embroidery.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents; husband, Ignacio Juaner; siblings, Gilbert Smith, Helen Smith, Norma Reyas, Ruth Broderick, Grace Jumalon and Edith Padua.

She is survived by her only daughter Gloria Mundo and husband Vince; brother, Robert Smith; grandchildren, Vincent Mundo and Matthew Mundo, Gordon Burchell, Jeffrey Burchell; also 15 greatgrandchildren, Vince III, Anthony, Megan, Madison, Alexander, Kailey Briana, Jaxon Chase, Gordon, Jr., Chris, Joel, Darcy, Amanda, Zack, Caleb and Hannah.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. The Reverend James Chance will officiate. Interment will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
