Ronald Joseph Despres, 63 of Mechanicsville, MD died suddenly on December 17, 2007.

Born September 22, 1944 in Canada, he was the son of the late Erik Despres.

Mr. Despres moved to St. Mary's County in 1986 coming from Hyattsville, Md. He was a Telecommunications Specialist for the National Gallery of Art. He loved his family, motorcycles, blowing leaves and camping in the mountains.

Mr. Despres is survived by his wife of 38 years, Helen E. Reinhardt Despres, daughters; Cindy A. (Rickey) Dean , Sherry L. Despres, siblings; Raymond Despres and Diane Fisher; 5 grandsons; Justin, Bryan, Stephen, Deuce and Chase, in addition to his father his was preceded in death by his brother Donald Despres.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Wildercroft Church of Christ, 6333 Auburn Avenue, Riverdale, MD 20737.
