Frank A Phillips, Jr., 42, of Leonardtown, Maryland died May 20, 2013 at his home in Leonardtown, MD.

Born May 12, 1971 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Frank Phillips and Claudia Sue Taylor Phillips of Leonardtown, MD.

Frank graduated from Leonardtown High School in May 1989. He was on the soccer and tennis teams. He also loved playing golf and spending time with his family and friends. He spent a few years in South Carolina pursuing a career in golf - gave that up and was pursuing a Computer Science degree at the University of South Carolina. Frank suffered a traumatic brain injury in 1998. Since that time he lived in Leonardtown under the care of his parents.

In addition to his parents, Frank is survived by his sister, Kathy Bell (Joe) of Leonardtown, MD; his niece, Alex Bell, and nephews, Brett Bell and Connor Bell.

The family will receive friends for Frank's Life Celebration on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown, MD.
