Raymond Alfred Hoover Sr., 72, of Waldorf, MD died May 7, 2013 at home of natural causes. Born June 12, 1940 in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Lawrence & Carrie Hoover of Forest Heights, MD.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan C. Hoover and brothers Tommy Hoover & Freddy Hoover.

He is survived by his daughter Wanda C. Wagner & son Raymond A. Hoover Jr., sister Helen Lindsey & brother Jimmy Hoover, and other family members in Southern MD, Syracuse NY & Vero Beach FL.

He was in the Plumbers Local Union #5 for 41 years. He was considered the "MAYOR" of Lisa Way and loved being in his garage. There was nothing that he could not fix.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 11, 2013 10 AM to 12 Noon at Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, MD. Service will be held Saturday May 11, 2013 at 12 Noon at Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, MD. Burial will immediately follow service at Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, MD.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St.Jude's Children's Hospital.
