Billy Bert Scroggs, 89 of Charlotte Hall, MD passed on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his residence at peace and with his loved ones in Charlotte Hall, MD. He was born on October 23, 1923 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late Clifton and Cora Scroggs.

Billy was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed locksmithing, carpentry, and following Notre Dame and Redskins football.

Billy is survived by his devoted companion, Mary Helen Kohler and his niece Geraldine Zabel.

Internment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3165 Mattawomen Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20604. Arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road.
