Grace W. Parks, 84, of Broomes Island, Maryland passed away on May 4, 2013 in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Grace was born on April 14, 1929 to Dowell and Winnie Mister. She is also predeceased by her brother Skipper Mister.

She was raised in Broomes Island and attended public schools. She married Calvin Parks in August 1947,and the couple lived in Broomes Island their entire lives. She was a homemaker that enjoyed growing flowers and raising her family.

Grace was the beloved wife for 66 years of Calvin Parks, and devoted mother of Barry and Buddy. She is also survived by sister in law Sharon Miller and her husband Lou, cousin LeRoy Elliott, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 11, 2013, 11 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, Maryland. Interment is private.
