Dolores E. Welch, 74, of La Plata, MD passed away on April 27, 2013. She was born on December 20, 1938 in Washington, DC to the late Earl and Bessie Dulaney. She is also predeceased by her brother Patrick Dulaney.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon, son Steve Welch and his wife Melinda, sister Donna Moss and her husband Carl, grandchildren Tommy, Daniel, Justin, Ryan and Jenna, Nephews Kevin, Brian and their families.

Dolores was originally from Prince George's County and graduated from Suitland High School. She retired as a clerical Assistant for the Federal Government at the Naval Research Lab. She was an avid Redskins fan, enjoyed music, the beach and playing bingo. She had many good friends especially at Abbey Manor and loved her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday May 2nd from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD. Interment to follow at the Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Waldorf, MD.
