George H. Smart, 80, of Cobb Island, MD died on April 21, 2013 in Washington, DC.
He was born on November 1, 1932 in Weymouth, MA to the late George and Alice Smart. He is also predeceased by his wife Patsy Smart.

He is survived by his sons Dennis Smart, Neal Smart, daughter Nerissa Smart, brothers David Smart, Donnie Smart, and Bobby Smart. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren soon to be 3.

He was an Engineer and was involved in the Apollo 11 launch into space. He retired from Navel Ordinance Station Indian Head on November 1, 1999.

Some of his favorite things were Sunday brunch at Shymanskys and walking around Cobb Island.

The family will receive friends on Friday April 26, 2013 from 10:30 AM to Mass time at 11:30 AM at the Holy Ghost Church Issue, MD. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
