![]() Blaine Robert Lessard of Welcome, MD died on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD. He was 55 years old.
Blaine was the owner of American Canine Scent Detection Co. in Welcome, MD where he trained scent detection dogs. Those of us lucky enough to know Blaine knew of his devotion to his family and friends and the dedication to his animals and working dogs. He enjoyed giving back to his community and being involved in Charles County Crime Solvers, Humane Society of Charles County, Rotary Club, Charles County Business Networking, Civista Health Foundation, and much more. He loved spending time with his girls, his grandchildren but especially his wife, Darlene. His unconditional love and support of her and their marriage was an inspiration to everyone around him. His laughter will be missed at every Civista Autumn Wine Tasting, fundraiser, and celebration. A special thank you to Hospice of Charles County, Civista Medical Center, and Dr. Mathur for all their loving care and support. To all the family and friends who reched out in their own way during the short time we had, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Also to Raymond Funeral Service for all of the arrangements.
