Evelyn Audrey Hudson, 84, of Waldorf, MD, formerly of Hollywood, MD and Alexandria, VA, passed away at her residence on February 23, 2013. She was born on September 27, 1928 in Williams Port, MD to the late Margaret (Cornwall) Swain and the late Bertram Eugene Swain.

She enjoyed watching movies and eating popcorn, reading, playing bingo, and loved going out dining with family and friends. In her younger days, Evelyn really enjoyed dancing and attending concerts of the great Elvis, Frank Sintra, and Tony Bennett. She liked watching football and was a Washington Redskins fan. Evelyn loved spending time with her family and love ones.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Hudson; brothers, Bert and John Swain; sisters, Birdie, Mary, Bessie, and Lottie Swain.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Deborah C. Hudson, Frank L. Hudson, Shelly M. Coffren (husband, Keith), John W. Hudson, William "Billy" Hudson, and Gene Ingraham (Wife, Jan); and grandchildren, Shannon Coffren, Tyler Hudson, and Brandon Hudson.

Family and friends will be received for Evelyn's Life Celebration on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow to Old Fields Episcopal Church Cemetery, 15837 Prince Frederick Road, Hughesville, MD 20637.
