Mark D. Leadmon, 53, of Lusby, MD passed into eternal glory on February 4, 2013. He was born on March 2, 1959 in Washington, DC to Mars D. Leadmon and the late Penny Brinegar Leadmon.

His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and deep love for his wife Sarah, carried him through years of battling cancer. The support and prayers of family and friends provided constant inspiration. Mark was a radiant Christian and a loving example to his family, church and many friends. His greatest joy was serving God through various ministries including volunteering, speaking and mentoring. He also enjoyed coaching softball for Grace Chapel and was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sarah E. Sherman, brothers: Jeff Leadmon (Donna) and Lorren Leadmon (Terry); his sisters: Patricia Snyder (Carl) and Gina Stoutenburgh (John) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends for Mark's Memorial Celebration on Friday, February 8, 2013, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Grace Chapel Ministries, 39245 Chaptico Road, Helen, MD 20659. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 am at Grace Chapel Ministries with Dr. Carl H. Snyder officiating. Interment will be Private.
