Lawrence Bernard Williams, 56, of Indian Head, Maryland went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. He was born October 26, 1956 in Bartow, Florida. He attended Greater Spiritual Fellowship Community Church in Indian Head, Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Chester Lee Williams and is survived by his Mother, Mary Williams; sons, Lawrence Jr., and Terrence; grandson, DeVoure Williams; sisters; Patricia, Janice and Barbara Williams; brother, Chester Leonard Williams; special cousin Rudolph Nance along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Lawrence Williams was a long time member of Narcotics and Alcoholics Anonymous. He graduated from Bartow Senior High School and went on to West Point Academy. Lawrence later received his "BSEE" Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University and later received his "MSEE" Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He also obtained his realtors license. He was presently employed with U.S. Patent and Trademark as a Patent Examiner.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at Greater Spiritual Fellowship Community Church, 106 Ellerbe Drive, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions be made to Hospice of Charles County.
