Joseph Sands Olcott of Bryans Road, MD died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD. He was 89 years old.

Mr. Olcott was the owner of Arlington Paper Supply for 30 plus years and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II as a seaman first class. He was a graduate of Brown University prior to his naval duty and following the war attended the University of MD for four years. He was a member of the 32nd Degree of Masons. In 1969, he acquired Arlington Paper Supply Company. He enjoyed traveling and visited every state in the nation and attended the world fairs in Chicago and New York.

Son of the late Floyd B. Olcott and the late Louise Addor Olcott.

Predeceased by his parents and his late wife: Madeline Hibbard Olcott Survived by a number of cousins.

Visitation: Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy: Rev. Mark Roberson. Interment: Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.
