Loretta Ashley Gilhuly of Hughesville, MD died on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her residence. She was 38 years old. She is the daughter of the late James Alexander Winn and the late Dorothy Ann Lusby Winn.

Loretta was a graduate of La Plata High School Class of 1992 and the College of Southern MD with a degree in criminal justice. She went on to become a medical receptionist with Mary Washington Health Care.

She loved taking care of her kids and her animals.

She is survived by one son: James Robert Gilhuly of VA; one daughter: Ashley L. Gilhuly of VA; one brother: Daniel A. (Deanna) Ward of Indian Head, MD; one sister: Melissa Ann (Tony) Swann of Hughesville, MD; four nephews: Ryan Swann, David Janes, Michael Jacobs, and David Dorsch; and two nieces: Danielle Freeman and DeeDee Dorsch.

Her visitation will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 1- 4PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Her funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel with clergy, Rev. Mark Roberson. Pallbearers will be Michael Jacobs, David Janes, David Dorsch, Tony Swann, Michael McAdoo, and BJ Willett. Her interment will follow the service at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
