Michael was a self-employed caregiver for 30 plus years and served in the United States Air Force. He had a major compassion to help young people and loved his church and his church family. He graduated with degrees from the University of St. Mary's, gamed with friends, and loved his Saturday night engagements. He was a very compassionate and caring person with everyone young and old.

He is the son of the living Edward Nicholas Zuras and the living Nina Frances Gray Zuras. He is survived by his parents; one brother: Jason Zuras of Bel Alton, MD; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

His visitation will be on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 5-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). His funeral service will be on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel with clergy, Rev. Robert Joseph. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
