Teri Darlene Phares, 54, of Chaptico, MD passed away on December 13, 2012 at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Born June 10, 1958 in Washington, D C, she was the daughter of the late Dean Clark Stoneman and Faye Sophia Casper Stoneman.

Teri was a self-employed property manager. She was a business woman and a 'handywoman' - very creative. She enjoyed working with flowers and she loved the outdoors and camping. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Teri was predeceased by her dad, Dean Clark Stoneman.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Earl Phares, Jr.; son: Donald E. Phares, III and wife, Karen; daughters: Jessica L. Hendricks and husband Andrew and Kristal N. Phares and husband Justin; brother, Darrell Stoneman; sisters; Debi Yorston, Laura Stoneman and Julie Schwab; grandchildren: Kelsey and Taylor Phares, Wyatt Walker, Lena and Justin Ellis, Jr.

The family will receive friends for Teri's Life Celebration on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Reverend James Chance will officiate. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Helen, MD.
