Frances Ann Marshall of La Plata, MD died on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She was 80 years old.

Mrs. Marshall was a homemaker and of the Episcopal faith. In her early years, she taught Sunday School at her church and did hairdressing in her shop in her home. She loved gardening and could grow anything. She was also an excellent seamstress. She most enjoyed being with family and friends and doing all she could to help them.

Daughter of the late Jack Folland and the late Flossie Mae Buchanan Folland.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband, Arthur E. Marshall; and one late grandchild, C.J. Marshall.

Survived by two sons, Clay Wynn (Roberta) Marshall of Ft. Worth, TX and Steve E. (Micaela) Marshall of Ft. Washington, MD; and two daughters, Linda Jean Marshall of La Plata, MD and Debra Ann (Steven) Swisher of FL. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 11AM until time of Funeral Service at 1PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Clergy: Rev. Mark Roberson. Interment: Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 2PM at Arlington National Cemetery.
