Doris Marie Perrie, 79, of Hollywood, MD, died December 5, 2012 at her residence in Hollywood, MD. Born February 28, 1933 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Carlin Eugene Coppage and Frances Stanley Coppage Harmon.

Doris worked at The Census Bureau and the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. She also worked for MGM (Metro Goldwyn Mayer). She retired from the Government and went to work in Payroll with Besche Oil Company in Waldorf, MD. Doris enjoyed dancing and camping with a group called the "Road Runners". She also enjoyed playing cards (a card shark) and taking the grandchildren camping, bowling and shopping.

Doris was predeceased by her parents; husband, Howard L. Perrie and sister, Peggy Hamilton.

She is survived by her sons, Howard Perrie (Donna), Steve Perrie (Michelle); brother, Carlin Coppage, Jr. and sister, Mary Ryan; grandchildren, Robert Lafferty, Michael Perrie, Jr., and Stefany Metcalf, great-grandchild, Cameron Lafferty and step-father, Harold W. Harmon.

The family will receive friends for Doris' Life Celebration on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 10:00am - 11:30am at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD. A funeral service will follow at 11:30am at Brinsfield-Echols. Reverend James Chance will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722
