![]() Patricia Kay "Patty" Lemko of Port Tobacco, Maryland, died on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at George Washington Hospital in Washington, DC. She was 63 years old.
Born on February 14, 1949 in La Plata, MD she was the daughter of the late Henry Samuel Nelson Thompson and the late Martha Mae Turner Thompson. Mrs. Lemko graduated from La Plata High School in 1967 and attended Charles County Community College. She began her federal career in 1968 at the Naval Ordnance Disposal Facility in Stump Neck, MD and later transferred to Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD. She retired from the US Coast Guard in Washington, DC in 2004 with 36 years of federal service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her sister, Dolores Eaton. She survived by her husband of 43 years, Willie Lemko; two sons, Chad Lemko and Shawn and his wife Heather Lemko; one granddaughter, Valerie Rose; four brothers, LJ and his wife Mary Thompson, Tommy Thompson, Floyd and his wife Evie Thompson, and John and his wife Debbie Thompson; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 2-5PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, MD 20646). Funeral Service on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 5PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. |
