James David Cook, 55, of Waldorf, MD, formerly of North Beach, MD, passed away in Harwood, MD on November 16, 2012, due to complications from a stroke. He was born in Alexandria, VA on February 26, 1957.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and loved the outdoors.

James is survived by one daughter, Melissa Neathery; his two grandchildren; his mother, Deloris A. (Sansbury) Johnson and step-father, Clarence P. Johnson, Jr.; his father, James C. Cook; his two sisters, Carolyn Wolford (Steve) and Cynthia French (Ron); and two nieces, two nephews, three great nieces and three great nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, 11:00 AM, at Hughesville Baptist Church, 8505 Leonardtown Road, Hughesville, MD 20637. Pastor Corrick will officiate.
