Paul Thomas Swan 72 of Waldorf, Md. Died on November 8, 2012 at the Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Md. He was born on March 7, 1940 in Washington DC to the late Edward Swan and Corinne Doome Swan. He is also predeceased by his children Richard Swan and Leslie Perry and his brother Richard Swan.

He is survived by his loving wife Carol Swan and his grandson Dale Mohler. He is also survived by his cousins Carol Gibson, Tim Edwards, and Sandy Edwards, special friends Michael Windsor, Billy Larecy, Robin Pauly, Lisa Dyson, Paulette Whitehead, Jim Barnes and Oscar Perry.

Paul worked at Franks Nursery and Crafts then Home Depot in Waldorf, Md. as an Appliance Specialist. He enjoyed traveling the world spending almost 2 years in Egypt with the peace keeping force in the Sinai Desert. He and his wife traveled to New York, Va., Pa., Niagara Falls, Bahamas, St. Martin, and the East Indies. He also enjoyed watching the Redskins and old movies. He collected comic books and enjoyed playing pool and basketball. But most of all he enjoyed spending time at home with his wife and grandson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 14, 2012 from 1 to 3 pm with a celebration of his life service at 3pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home 211 St. Mary's Ave. LaPlata, Md. 20646. His interment will be private.
