Bettie Harmon of Colonial Beach, VA (formerly of Waldorf, MD) died on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at her residence w/Hospice. She was 72 years old.

Mrs. Harmon was a nurse for 20 years at Alexandria Hospital. She was a member of the Red Hats Society. She enjoyed photography, quilting, painting, and travel.

Daughter of the late Redmond R. Manuel and the late Fannie Johnson Manuel.

Predeceased by her parents.

Survived by her husband of 20 years, Thomas S. Harmon; two sons, Michael J. Harmon of Hughesville, MD and Duane Steward of Arlington, TX; two daughters, Tiffany J. (Carl) Revine of St. Petersburg, FL and Tracy A. (Richard) Reno of Waldorf, MD; one sister, Virginia Arlene Thacker of Colonial Beach, VA; and two grandchildren, Tyler Reno and Michael Harmon, Jr. Also survived by two nephews and one niece.

Visitation: Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 5-8PM with Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Clergy: Rev. Dan Bennett. Interment: Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11AM at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
