![]() Bobbie L. Lilly, 73, of Waldorf, MD went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2012. Born October 22, 1938, in Princewick, WVA, he was the son of the late Aldie Lilly and the late Ralph Lilly.
He retired from Giant Food after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and an avid sports fan. He loved to watch little league sports and was a coach and umpire for CCYL. He also enjoyed casinos. He was a generous man who loved people. He was fond of his Bladensburg Auxilary Ladies, bingo staff and players of Silver Hill Fire Department, and all of his buddies from Rosecroft Raceway. He was most proud of his family and West Virginia roots. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Miller, son-in-law, Ringo Miller; sister, Loretta Crews and brother-in-law Andrew Crews; brother, Harold Lilly and sister-in-law, Danease Lilly; brother, Hershel Lilly; brothers-in-law JD Brakefield and Robert Breeden. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gwen Lilly, the love of his life; son, Kevin Lilly and daughter-in-law, Lisa Lilly; granddaughter, Carson Lilly; granddaughter, Jordan Lilly and her fiancé, Chris Corbett; daughter, Barbara Lilly and son-in- law, Michael Blaine; grandson, Ringo Blaine and his girlfriend, Melinda Campbell; sister Marie Brakefield; sister, Patricia Cook and brother-in-law, Ralph Cook; brother, Ralph Lilly, Jr. and sister-in-law, Grace Lilly; brother, Dewey Lilly and sister-in- law, Lavera Lilly; sister-in-law, Peggy Breeden; brother-in-law, Wayne Goforth; brother-in-law, Patrick Goforth and sister-in-law, Karen Goforth; goddaughter, Brooke Whitney and godson, Christopher Mundel; several nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Visitation: Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 5-8PM and Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 10AM-11AM at the First Baptist Church of St. Charles (136 Stoddert Avenue, Waldorf, MD 20602). Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11AM at First Baptist Church of St. Charles. Clergy: Rev. Fred Caudle. Interment: Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD Honorary Pallbearers: United States Marine Corps.
