Elmer Micloth "Mickey" Rice, 68, of Great Mills, MD, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012. Mickey was born on April 5, 1944 to the late Annie "Leona" Walton and John Rice.

Mickey was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He received his education in the St. Mary's County Public Schools and furthered his education by attending college. Mickey was known for his uninhibited hospitality, caring involvement in the community, and unbridled passion for coaching sports. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Victoria " Vicky" Rice; his children, Karlen Bush, Rhonda Rice, Leslie Harriel (Rodney), Ricky Rice (Lynette), Rashaad Rice, Reggie Rice, Sergio Kentish (Tracy), and Shavsha Robinson (Avery); his sister, Joanne Marshall and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1 pm at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD.
