Anna Virginia Williams, 81 of Mechanicsville, MD died on September 30, 2007 at her residence.

Born on December 4, 1925 in Mechanicsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roland Eugene and Adell Lyon Dyson. Ms. Williams was a life long resident of St. Mary's County and was a 3rd generation Farmer. She raised cattle and processed meat for area distributors.

She was a beloved wife of the late Frances Edward Williams whom she married on October 14, 1945. Predeceased by siblings, Woody Anderson & Aline Thompson, Lewis Anderson, and John Anderson.

Survived by children; Shirley A. Saunders and Valerie J. Walker, five grandchildren, George M. Saunders, Jr., Annette C. Kiddy, Lucy K. Saunders, Edward A. Walker, and Stuart W. Walker, and two great-grandchildren, Alaric C. Kiddy and Lydia M. Saunders.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where a Funeral Service will also be held at 11AM on Thursday, October 4, 2007 with Reverend Paula Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
