Thou we loved him, God loved him best…so it was on Thursday, October 4, 2007, God in his infinite wisdom removed from our midst our Beloved Vincent "Casey" Edward Chase.

Born July 31, 1967 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Phillip Sr. and Margaret Chase of Lexington Park, MD.

Casey graduated from Gwynn Park High School in 1985. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed going to Budds Creek to watch the races. He also enjoyed fishing, riding his bicycles, dancing and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his loving parents, Casey leaves to cherish his memories his son, Tyree Ford of Landover, MD, siblings, Valerie Herbert and Annette Chase, both of Lexington Park, MD, Phillip Chase Jr., (Mary) of Oxon Hill, MD, Joseph Chase of Lexington Park, MD and one special brother, Aaron Clark of Oxon Hill, MD, six nieces, one nephew, one aunt, Mary Hansley (Jesse) of Great Mills, MD, uncles, Joseph Curtis (Mary) of Capital Heights, MD, James Clark of Upper Marlboro, MD, Paul Chase (Theresa) of Waldorf, MD, Lewis Chase (Carolyn) and John Chase (Juanita) both of Baltimore, MD, and John Gray (Georgina) of Oakville, MD, great aunts, Lilly Mae Beander and Agnes Holly, both of Lexington Park, MD, great uncle, Augustus Herbert (Elizabeth) of Leonardtown, MD, and a host of cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Gertrude Herbert and paternal grandparents, John and Catherine Chase.

Our family circle has been broken our dear sweet one has passed away. He has passed from earth and earthly darkness into a bright light and perfect day; but we shall see him again on the other side.

We will miss you Casey; your smile, your laughter and just the sound of you calling our names. So these precious memories shall forever remain in our hearts.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in First Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington Park, MD, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Roderick McClanahan will conduct the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
