Linda won her battle over cancer, as dying is not the end, but only the beginning.
She died at home on September 21, 2012 with her family by her side.
Linda was a loving wife to her husband Richard A. Hickey, whom she adored and shared a faithful and loving marriage together for over 35 years.
She was a generous, loving mother and was always there to share her wisdom with her five children.
She loved and enjoyed caring for her grandbabies, and her one great grandchild.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, extended family, and close friends.
She was a loyal employee as a union bindery worker in the printing industry, and enjoyed working part time as a Mary Kay Consultant.
She loved her home and enjoyed horticulture and gardening was an enjoyable hobby of hers.
She always looked forward to her annual February vacation time with her dearly beloved husband and her special friends who were her family.
She looked forward to the fall season and loved watching and rooting on her hometown team, she was a number one fan of the Washington Redskins.
She leaves behind her loving husband Richard A. Hickey, her two sons Alan Hickey and Chad Hickey, her daughters Deanna Roy (Hickey) and Shannon Wink (Hickey),Her son in laws Jeff wink, Calvin Jones, and George May, her daughter in law Christina Ohler (Hickey) and her brothers Joseph Hoover and Woodrow Hoover
She leaves behind a legacy of twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild, whom all had a special place in her heart.
She was predeceased by her loving daughter Laura May, her grandson Eddie May, her mother Margaret Hoover, her father Thomas Hoover, and her brother Glen Hoover.
She loved her family and friends with a passion, and will be missed by both.
